The marcos Story — Handcrafted with Heart
In 1992, Marco Rossi — a first-generation Italian-American with a grandmother's recipe and a dream — opened a tiny pizzeria on Niagara Street in Buffalo, NY. With just a single wood-fired oven and an unshakeable belief in quality, he began making marco's pizza the way it was meant to be made: slow-fermented dough, hand-crushed San Marzano tomatoes, and the freshest local toppings Buffalo had to offer.
Word spread fast. Neighbors lined up around the block. By 1997, the original single oven became four, the dining room expanded, and Marcos had earned its place as a cornerstone of the Buffalo food community. Today, marcos pizza is still made by the same family, with the same standards, in the same neighborhood.
